Artist's Comments

The colors may be warped a bit, but whatever.

I wanted to draw a bustle dress. More particularly, wanted to do a watercolor painting. Yep. Nobody in particular, just some person looking in a mirror.

I really ought to do some finished pieces with more action-oriented poses. Next project? I have no idea.

Edit: why does this have so many favorites, guys, it's not even that good. D :

Edit 2: Seriously, there's better stuff.

^w^ Gorgeous! You're so lucky that you can work with water colors so well. x3 I'm not that fortunate.

Wow, that's really neat! I love the yellow-ish glow from the little lamp on the table. =D And that bustle is great.

DRAW ALY

BEING EATEN BY A BEAR

(seriously, though, like the mood lighting. Mmmm. It feels just a little too brown overall, though that also looks like it might be the scan. But I do love the yellow of the lamplight. Yessss.)

(It is totally the scan. It wrecked my rich purples.)

Thank you, darling.

Perhaps bears will be forthcoming. Although I can't imagine J. will be pleased.
(accursed scanner, let it be cast into the outer darkness where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. Same place my old three-in-one went)

Somehow. Somehow I doubt he'd be best pleased, no.

Beautiful! I love the mood created in this pic - it looks as if it's in the evening, and the house is lit by candle light!
